Adopting a Greyhound from FASTHound Greyhound Adoption couldn't be easier!
All you have to do is download an application, complete all the information and mail it to us at the address on the application.

FASTHound Greyhound Adoption requires a $180.00 adoption donation. This donation covers the cost of the Greyhounds vetting which includes Spay/Neuter, Teeth Cleaning, Required Shots, Heartworm Testing, Fecal check and General Examination. Each Greyhound is also started on heartworm preventative medicine.
Once we recieve your application we will call you to discuss what you are looking for in a Greyhound companion and which of our adoptible Greyhounds would best fit into your family.
A homevisit will then be scheduled, to bring the Greyhound you have selected out to meet all members of your family to make sure that it is the RIGHT greyhound for you. At FASTHound we know that adopting a canine companion is a major decision and the importance of getting the right one to you is a foremost consideration for us.
Once you have decided on a greyhound we can either finalize the adoption or if you prefer the opportunity to spend time with the greyhound prior to committing to an adoption, our 'foster to adopt' program places the prespective greyhound in your home for a period of 2 to 4 weeks allowing for extended interaction with the family. Fasthound requires a refundable $50.00 deposit on our 'foster to adopt' program. At the end of the program you can either finalize the adoption at which time the balance of $130.00 will be collected, or return the greyhound to us and we'll refund your deposit.
The $180.00 adoption donation is due at the time the adoption is finalized. Your Greyhound comes complete with a sighthound collar and leash.
